City Union Mission - Compassionate service to low-income and homeless community members through the distribution of food, clothing, school supplies, household items, utility assistance, case management, affordable housing referrals, Life Skills classes and services for homebound elderly and disabled people.

Community Assistance Council - Empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency through the delivery of direct emergency assistance, education and advocacy.

Downtown Outreach - Providing hunger relief to people in Kansas City. Open to anyone.

Episcopal Community Services - Serving noonday meals at no cost to people who are hungry and homeless.

Grace United - To feed the hungry, provide clothes for those in need.

Harvesters - Harvesters provides food to its network of member agencies who in turn provide help to individuals and families at risk of hunger throughout the community.

Harvesters – SNAP - SNAP (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), formerly known as Food Stamps, serves as our nation’s first line of defense against hunger. SNAP provides low-income people with a consistent means to buy nutritious food at supermarkets and many farmers’ markets using a special debit card. SNAP eligibility is based on residency, family size, income and assets.

Hope City - Open prayer rooms with worship made available for all. Running right alongside the prayer room, community centers raised up in struggling neighborhoods to serve the needs of the troubled youth, the addicted and the homeless.

Truman Mobile Market - Truman Medical Centers' Mobile Market brings fresh fruits and veggies to Kansas City's urban core.

University of Missouri Exchange – Family Nutrition Education - FNEP is nutrition education for individuals and families. Nutrition educators meet participants in homes, schools and at agencies.
