Bowling
KC Power & Speed Co. is a Sports Program of Open Options, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving people with disabilities in the Greater Kansas City area. They have been in continuous operation since 1977 and serve the community through multiple programs.
KC Power & Speed Co. offers a year-round competitive training program designed for athletes with physical disabilities to:
- Develop sports skills in Bowling, Boccia (adapted Bocce), and Athletics
- Promote goal setting
- Enhance physical fitness through adaptive physical exercise
- Provide fun experiences
- Give the opportunity to participate in local, state, regional, national, and international meets
