Expanding Access to Art: Jackie’s Work at the Nelson-Atkins Museum

Art should be for everyone, and Jackie, the Manager of Community and Access Programs at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, is making that a reality.

She leads tours designed for people who experience blind or have low vision, even making it possible for participants to touch artwork and experience its details firsthand. Jackie also advocates for Universal Design, ensuring accessibility is at the heart of museum experiences.
