Resources for people with disabilities
Collaborative partnerships are key to the success of our programs. TWP staff connect with other organizations and agencies throughout the Kansas City Metro Area to improve services for our consumers and outreach to the community. Through working relationships - that include referrals and participation in cross-disability committees, task forces and boards - services throughout the community for people with disabilities are strengthened providing a holistic approach to assisting consumers in gaining their independence.
There are several on-line resources where you can turn to for assistance and information about programs, services, organizations, federal, state and local government programs, technology and tips on living with a disability. This list is always changing, so use it as a tool for learning more information about your disability or getting the answers you need.
