Free round-trip rides for voters living in Jackson County

Do you need a ride to vote?

We are scheduling rides beginning Tuesday, October 13 through October 30, and on Election Day!

 

We are a Central Poll for the Kansas City Election Board

  • The Whole Person is offering round-trip rides to our Central Polling Collection at 3710 Main St. Kansas City, MO 64111, for the November General Election.
  • Residents of Kansas Cityliving in Jackson County ONLY, are welcome to vote in-person by advance absentee voting or on Election Day November 3, 2020.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Rides are by appointment only and require a 24-hour notice.
  • You have a choice of the following 3-hour time spans to reserve a ride:  9:00am-Noon or 1:00pm-3:00pm.
  • Rides are scheduled on a first-come basis.
  • Our driver will contact you by phone the morning of your appointment to confirm your ride.  If you do not answer, your pick-up will be canceled, due to the potential volume of requests.
  • Pick-up times cannot be guarantee. We will do our best to accommodate each rider.
  • Drop-off times will vary depending on the volume of voters being transported. Please be prepared to potentially ride with other individuals. Your flexibility is appreciated.
  • Face masks are required for each rider and we will do our best to maintain social distancing. However, this cannot be guaranteed.

When you submit your request, you will automatically be redirected to a "Release and Waiver of Liability" form.  You MUST complete this online form with your "electronic signature" or you will not be eligible for a ride to the poll to vote.

Satellite Absentee Voting Schedule  

October 13 - 30, 2020
Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm

October 17 and October 24
Saturday, 10am - 2pm

Election Day November 3, 2020

  • KCEB opens all polls at 6 am and closes at 7 pm
  • If you are in line at 7 pm, you are legally allowed to cast your ballot.

The Whole Person will provide Free Mail-in and Absentee Notary Services

State law requires absentee ballots to be notarized for free. However, SB 631 did not authorize free notarization for mail-in ballots. The Whole Person is able to assist Missouri voters in notarizing their absentee or mail-in ballot envelopes at no cost. CLICK HERE to set an appointment to have TWP notarize your ballot.
