ADA 36th Anniversary Celebration
The Whole Person

We connect people with disabilities to the right resources, support their independence, and work for positive change in our community.

Organized by Kianna Riffey

The ADA Celebration honors the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the progress over the past 36 years.

Each year, The Whole Person highlights milestones in disability history and recognizes the advocates who have made a difference—and continue to fight for change.

The Whole Person’s celebration is filled with guest speakers, food, games, and prizes, making it not only a day of reflection but also a fun and festive gathering. It’s a chance to celebrate you and the diverse disability community

About

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990, by President George H.W. Bush. Throughout the year and on the ADA Anniversary (July 26), the ADA National Network recognizes this landmark event and the important work to promote equal opportunity for people with disabilities.
