KC Streetcar Adventure: Explore Downtown Kansas City
Micki Keck
Join us for a fun morning exploring downtown Kansas City on the KC Streetcar!
We’ll meet in The Whole Person lobby between 9:30 and 9:45 am to sign liability waiver forms before departing. At 10:00 am, we’ll walk to the Crossroads Streetcar stop at 19th and Main and begin our adventure.
Our first stop will be Union Station, where we’ll spend about 15 minutes exploring this historic Kansas City landmark. Then we’ll ride the streetcar to City Market at 5th and Walnut, where we’ll have about 30 minutes to look around. Participants are welcome to purchase a drink or ice cream with their own money.
We’ll finish by riding the streetcar back to the Crossroads stop at 19th and Main. Along the way, Micki Keck will share interesting stories and history about Kansas City.
Participation is limited to 10 Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and DeafBlind individuals.
