Tactile Tour at the Nelson-Atkins Museum

On March 28th, join us at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art for a Verbal Description & Tactile Tour that brings the art of China to life. This interactive experience combines vivid verbal descriptions, hands-on tactile exploration, and engaging discussions to uncover how Chinese art reflects the political, religious, and technological developments that shaped its history.

After the tour, head to the classroom to get creative and craft your own interpretation of the pieces you’ve explored. Whether you’re an art lover or just curious, this is a great way to connect with culture and creativity at the Nelson-Atkins.
