White Cane Safety Day

The Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) invites the community to the 2nd Annual White Cane Safety Day Celebration. This event honors the white cane as a symbol of independence for people who are blind or visually impaired, while bringing families and community members together.

The celebration begins with an Accessibility Parade at 11:15 AM, followed by an afternoon of activities including a pumpkin patch, crafts, fall-themed sensory stations, beep kickball, live music, and more.

The Whole Person is proud to partner with CCVI for this event and will be onsite to share resources and connect with families.

Free and open to the public – all are welcome.
