Peer Support & Mentoring Program
Life with SCI/D
Join Us!
Living with a spinal cord injury or related disability presents unique challenges and opportunities. At The Whole Person, our Life with SCI/D group fosters a vibrant community where individuals of all ages can connect, share experiences, and discover valuable resources.
We believe in empowering independence through peer support and engaging recreational activities, creating a space for mutual understanding and growth. Whether you’re navigating daily life or seeking new ways to thrive, this group offers a supportive environment for individuals and families impacted by SCI/D. (Participants under 18 require a parent/guardian.)
Meet Your Organizer
The group meets on different days and at various times each month depending on the host group. Host groups are: The Whole Person, the Greater Kansas City Spinal Cord Injury Association and MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital.
