DIY Life Skills Peer Group – April
Join The Whole Person for DIY Life Skills, a peer group designed for youth ages 18-24 who want to learn and strengthen their independent living skills. Held every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2:00–3:00 PM, this small-group setting is open to all Consumers and covers essential topics like relationships, communication, hygiene, advocacy, healthy eating, employment, and more! April’s Theme: Self Love In April, we’ll explore the importance of self-love and why it’s essential for overall well-being. We’ll talk about different ways to practice self-care and love on yourself, from positive affirmations to setting healthy boundaries. We’ll discuss what actions you can take to stay healthy, how being healthy positively impacts your life, and why it’s important to prioritize your well-being. Participants will also enjoy a creative activity, making jewelry, to express themselves while learning about healthy habits.
