Getting Social – May
The theme for May’s Getting Social Event is “Stress Awareness”. Getting Social is a peer support group for people with disabilities, their PCAs, family, friends, and other service providers. Join us on the first Friday of each month, or date specified, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. virtually via Zoom, or in the Community Room at the Missouri Office; 3710 Main St., KCMO. DIY Life Skills Peer Group – April
Join The Whole Person for DIY Life Skills, a peer group designed for youth ages 18-24 who want to learn and strengthen their independent living skills. Held every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2:00–3:00 PM, this small-group setting is open to all Consumers and covers essential topics like relationships, communication, hygiene, advocacy, healthy eating, employment, and more! April’s Theme: Self Love In April, we’ll explore the importance of self-love and why it’s essential for overall well-being. We’ll talk about different ways to practice self-care and love on yourself, from positive affirmations to setting healthy boundaries.
