Brain Injury Peer Support Group-06/11/2026
Sara Carlson
Join your peers and connect with others who understand the challenges of living with a brain injury. In a supportive and understanding environment, participants can engage in meaningful discussions about topics relevant to their experiences, offering a chance to share valuable information, resources, and coping strategies. Whether you’re looking for advice, social activities, camaraderie, or a place to feel understood, this group offers a welcoming space to help you navigate life after a brain injury.
The Brain Injury Peer Support Group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm at The Whole Person, 3710 Main St., KCMO.
This month will be a collaborative peer support group for our Brain Injury Group and our Spinal Cord Injury Group.
We will have a special guest speaker:
Dr. Cindy Fisher
