DIY LifeSkills – Young Adults 18-24
Join The Whole Person for DIY Life Skills, a peer group designed for youth ages 18-24 who want to learn and strengthen their independent living skills.
Held every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2:00–3:00 PM, this small-group setting is open to all Consumers and covers essential topics like relationships, communication, hygiene, advocacy, healthy eating, employment, and more!
September’s Theme: The Power of Teamwork
This month, we’ll explore the importance of teamwork in everyday life and discuss how working together can lead to greater success and positive outcomes. We’ll talk about what teamwork looks like in different situations, and share examples of how collaboration helps us achieve our goals. After the discussion, we’ll have a fun craft activity where we’ll create an apple tree using Fruit Loops to represent how each team member contributes to the bigger picture.
