DIY LifeSkills – Young Adults 18-24
Join The Whole Person for DIY Life Skills, a peer group designed for youth ages 18-24 who want to learn and strengthen their independent living skills.
Held every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2:00–3:00 PM, this small-group setting is open to all consumers and covers essential topics like relationships, communication, hygiene, advocacy, healthy eating, employment, and more!
November’s Theme: Home DIY Projects & Repair Basics
- Hanging pictures, assembling furniture
- Using basic tools (screwdriver, hammer, measuring tape)
- Intro to home safety equipment (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers)
