Learn Basic American Sign Language!

For the first time, The Whole Person is excited to offer our Basic ASL Workshop to the public!

Join us on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, from 2:00–3:15 PM in the Community Room at The Whole Person for an engaging and immersive experience in American Sign Language.

This workshop includes:

- Total immersion into ASL, designed for beginners.
- Instruction tailored to practical signs for everyday use.
- Opportunities to practice ASL with fellow participants and the instructor.

With over 11 million Deaf individuals in the U.S. and more than 10,000 in the Greater Kansas City area, this is a fantastic chance to connect with and support the Deaf community.
