Hands-On Instrument Tour at K.C. Strings
Hands-On Tour at KC Strings for the Blind and Low-Vision Community
Join us for a unique and interactive experience at KC Strings, where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how musical instruments are crafted from raw wood to a finished piece of art. This special tour is designed for the blind and low-vision community, offering a tactile journey through the art of instrument making.
During the tour, you’ll learn how instruments are built from start to finish, with detailed descriptions and opportunities to hold and feel different materials used in the process. Our team encourages questions, and we’ll tailor the presentation to your interests, ensuring a personalized experience. Afterward, participants are welcome to play the instruments in the shop, bringing the craft of music to life!
