About RoKC

RoKC was developed by local climbers who dreamed big and brought world-class climbing to the Kansas City area. Their mission is to provide a fun, inclusive, and adventurous environment where people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can learn and be challenged. RoKC was founded on the phrase "build it to give it away" a saying that remains at the heart of all they do. As the community grows, their goal stays the same: to offer the best possible experience for every person who walks in the door.

Manager, Michael Reed and his team lead the TWP Climbing group, as he has his Climbing Wall Instructor certification (CWI) from the American Mountain Guide Climbing Association (AMGA). The rest of the RoKC staff has been fully immersed in the Paradox Sports Adaptive Climbing Manual and getting in-house certification(s) to test out on Top Rope/Lead.  RoKC trainers/coaches are proud to base all of their testing standards on AMGA publications!
