AAGKC Workshop | Barriers to Access: Creative Solutions
Join AAGKC for a workshop led by KCAI Leonard Pryor Fellow, Keith Kirkland, to explore creative solutions for overcoming barriers to access in the arts. Through real-world examples and a practical application exercise, participants will develop action plans to enhance accessibility within their organizations, advancing inclusivity in the arts community.
AAGKC is an initiative developed by The Whole Person in partnership with the Missouri Arts Council, led by ArtsKC. AAGKC aims to improve the KC arts environment by engaging people with all types of disabilities in meaningful arts experiences.
This workshop will be ASL interpreted and captioned (Microsoft auto-captions). ArtsKC is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event. If you need reasonable accommodation, please contact Melonnie Walker at mwalker@artskc.org with the subject line, "AAGKC Workshop - Accommodation Request". All requests must be made by Thursday, November 7. We will attempt to implement late requests but cannot guarantee they will be met.
