2024 Expressions Art Exhibition

Expressions is an opportunity for artists with disabilities to exhibit their work in a professional setting while making connections with the Kansas City arts community. Expressions is a juried art exhibition. If selected, exhibiting artists’ works will be displayed on May 3rd, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at The Whole Person. Selected artists will receive an honorarium.

All artists, 18 years old and over, with documented or self-identified disabilities (physical, cognitive, mental health, chronic health conditions, sensory, or other) in the Greater Kansas City area are invited to submit their work for consideration in the 13th Annual Expressions Art Exhibition. Artists working in various mediums (painting, photography, graphics, print, sculpture, dance, music, spoken word, etc.) were encouraged to apply.

How are artists selected?  Artists were selected by a volunteer committee of arts professionals, who will look for artistic merit and thoughtful responses to questions about your work.
