I am a graphic designer, visual artist, and collagenisto. My work explores the relationship between the body and multimedia experiences.
With influences as diverse as Munch and John Lennon, new synergies are distilled from both mundane and transcendent layers.
I incorporate photography, anime/manga and traditional art and combine them into a comprehensive interpretation. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes manipulated into a hegemony of power, leaving only a sense of dread and the chance of a new beginning.
As shifting replicas become transformed through diligent and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the darkness of our world.
Being in Expressions will help put a spotlight on people in our community as a whole—to say we can still contribute something to the world.
