Most of my work span to multiple ideas and many inspirations that has progressed throughout my life. The inspirations come from: The artifacts and spiritual teachings from the many tribes of the Americas, the complex processes Ukiyo-e Woodblock Prints in Japan, and the German Expressionism groups like The Die Brucke (The Bridge) and Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider) that combined traditional techniques with nontraditional points of views. My recent series has been focused on the concept of a teaching that revolves around the Fighting Game Community that “You are not learning until you see everything”. My interpretation is to create every mark on the piece, which represents a move for that particular character from a specific game in simple brushstrokes, splatters and color.
