4th Annual Deaf/Hard of Hearing Day At Bar K
JOIN US FOR A GOOD TIME! If you are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, an ASL User, ASL Interpreter, ASL Student or if you are the owner of a deaf dog, join Bar K and The Whole Person on Saturday, October 16th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at BarK, 501 Berkley Parkway, KCMO.
TWP will be here sharing resources for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing as well as information on where you can go to find adoptable deaf dogs. Those new to ASL will have the opportunity to find out where they can learn this valuable skill and how it can open up a new world of relationships and understanding.

Meet & Greet- Dr. Tom Wiggins & Ace, his service dog
Deb Morrison, Mango, her hearing/canine dog
3p Michele Plummer will perform two to three ASL Poetry about dogs.
3:15p Building tour
4p We need to leave Petfinder Park. You can stay and hang out on your own.
