Experience Blind Climbing!
The Whole Person is joining The Blind Spot and RoKC at their “Experience Blind Climbing” event on Friday, May 13 at 7:30pm at 654 N. Central St., Olathe, KS. Get your tickets at https://blindspotkc.org/events.
The Blind Spot and RoKC Climbing Gym in Olathe are offering a unique and amazing experience of blind climbing. This requires getting “comfortable with the uncomfortable” in a safe environment. Blind, visually impaired, and sighted individuals are all invited to wear a blindfold and have a spotter give verbal assistance on how to get up a rock-climbing wall. Automatic belaying will be used, so no chance of falling. After the climb, there is also an option to purchase a blind whiskey tasting and pizza experience with Apogee! Tickets are $10.
